No Bake Oreo Cheesecake

This Oreo cheesecake is  easy to make. A simple and straight forward list of ingredients that basically just get combined and thrown in a pan. No oven involved. 😉

This was my third time of  making Oreo cheesecake. The first time I made with added geratin powder( I didn't post the recipe). The second time I made less cream cheese in the recipe( You can  get the recipe from here: https://bakewithkaren.blogspot.com/2014/06/non-bake-oreo-cheesecake.html ) and it taste great too. And now this recipe is also good!😊










No Bake Oreo Cheesecake (8" cake pan)


Ingredients:

28 Oreos 

50g Melted Butter

400ml Double Cream 

400g Cream Cheese

100g Icing Sugar

1 tsp Vanilla Extract 


Method:

1. In a food processor, process 18 Oreos until fine crumbs are formed. 

2. Add the crumbs to a bowl and remove 2 tablespoons for decoration. 

3. Add the melted butter and stir until the crumbs are combined.

4. Add the mixture to a 8 inch cake pan with a loose pan by using your spatula to press down and form an even base .

5. Leave to set in fridge for 10 minutes whilst the frosting is being made. 

6. In a bowl, add the double cream and whisk until soft peaks are formed. 

7. Whisk the cream cheese, icing sugar and vanilla extract.

8. Fold the cream cheese mixture into the whipped cream until all ingredients are incorporated. 

9. Chop up the remaining Oreos into fine pieces and add into the mixture and fold gently.

10. Pour the mixture onto the set base and use a spatula to create an even top.

11. Sift on the remaining Oreo crumbs on to the top.

12. Leave to refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
