Sugar Cookies

Sugar Cookies are a sweet and tender cookie with wonderfully crisp edges. They are all time favorite cookies during the Christmas season. They are delicious whether or not eat it plain without any dressing or frosted with royal icing.😘

I used some leftover dough from making stained glass cookie to make this sugar cookies. Personally, I like to dress my sugar cookies with royal icing, not only looks beautiful and it's more like a festive holidays cookies.😍

(Royal Icing)
 1             Egg white (40g)
 1/2 tsp     Lemon juice
 1+ 3/4 cup    Powdered sugar (170g - 190g)

For the icing, combine ingredients until smooth. Add water to thin, more sugar to thicken. Set aside.

To make the royal icing colorful, a few drops of food coloring will saturate the royal icing with any color of the rainbow. Just remember that a little coloring goes a long way—if the color isn't as dark or saturated as you want, keep in mind that it will darken as the icing dries.

Happy Baking!
