I made a simple yet delicious Chocolate Burnt Cheesecake for my birthday. It looks very rustic and comforting, definitely a dessert that will win the heart of all.

Ingredients :
500g cream cheese (奶油芝士)
120g caster sugar (细砂糖)
5 eggs (鸡蛋)- grade A
200ml whipping cream (动物性鲜奶油)
250g melted dark chocolate (黑巧克力溶化)
10g cocoa powder (可可粉)
10g corn flour (玉米粉)
Method:
- Prepare an 8-inch round pan with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius .
- Melt chocolate over simmering water.
- Beat cream cheese lightly add sugar and mix well.
- Add eggs one by one and mix well.
- Add fresh cream and mix well.
- Add in melted chocolate and mix well, and finally, add cornstarch and cocoa powder and mix well.
- After sieving the batter once(optional), pour it to the prepared pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes, cool at room temperature for at least 1 hour, and then refrigerate overnight (more than 6 hours).
- It's best to let it sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes after taking it out from the refrigerator before eating.
