Finally, I used up the last one nian gao! 😁 Since I have yam and sweet potato in the pantry, so I used them to sandwich with nian gao and fried. 😉
The balance yam and sweet potato☝, I wrapped with popiah skin and fried.
Fried Nian Gao
Ingredients:
Batter: 100 grams of plain flour, 50 grams of blended rice flour, 30 grams of cornstarch, 1 spoon of baking powder, half a spoon of salt, 1 spoon of cooking oil, 200 ml of water
Method:
1) Peel, clean, wipe dry nian gao and cut into pieces
2) Peel the taro & sweet potato, clean and cut into thin slices
3) Prepare 100 grams of plain flour, 50 grams of blended rice flour, 30 grams of cornstarch, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1/2 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, and 200 ml of water, stir and proof for 10-15 minutes
4) Heat oil in a hot pan, place a piece of taro on top of a nian gao and a piece of sweet potato, wrap it in batter and fry it slowly
5) Deep fry the nian gao until golden brown on both sides
面糊:100克普通面粉、50克粘米粉、30克玉米淀粉、1勺泡打粉、半勺盐、1勺食用油、200毫升清水
做法:
1)把年糕去皮清洗干净抹干切块
2)芋头&番薯去皮清洗干净切薄片
3)准备100克普通面粉、50克粘米粉、30克玉米淀粉、1勺泡打粉、半勺盐、1勺食用油、200毫升清水搅拌均匀醒发10-15分钟
4)热锅热油,把一块芋头夹着年糕再夹着一块番薯,裹上面糊下锅慢炸
5)把年糕小火炸至两面金黄色即可
