Black Sesame cake

I bake this cake for my mother in law's birthday celebration. I wish her a healthy and happy life.... 😘



Black Sesame cake


Ingredients:

Vegetable oil   30g

Black sesame powder   15g

Cake flour   45g

Sugar   20g

Egg yolk   3

Milk   45g

Egg whites   3

Sugar   35g


Whipping cream   100g

Icing sugar   10g

Black sesame powder   10g


Method:

1. Heat up oil in Microwave till warm (about 30 seconds) and add in black sesame powder and sifted cake flour stir well.

2. Add in sugar and whisk till well combined.

3. Add in egg yolks gradually and whisk till well combined.

4.  Add in milk and whisk till well combined.

5. Whisk egg whites till foamy. Slowly add in sugar and continue beating until peak. 

6. Fold in 1/3 egg whites into yolk mixture and mix well. 

7. Fold in the remaining egg whites into yolk mixture and mix till well combined.

8. Pour batter into  6"  pans(16cm).

9. Preheated oven to 170℃ and bake chiffon for 25-30 mins.

10. Tap the cake pan on the table to remove the air bubbles in the cake and invert the cake to cool down immediately.
