Parmesen Cheese Bun and Pepperoni Cheese Buns

Baking bread for my family is a joyful job. I love seeing them enjoy eating my homemade bread. 😍





Parmesen Cheese Bun and Pepperoni Cheese Buns

Ingredients:

Bread Dough:

240g     Bread Flour 

60g       All Purpose Flour

20g       Sugar 

15g       Milk Powder  

3g         Salt

140g    Cold milk

60g      Tangzhong

3g         Instant Dry Yeast  

1pcs    Egg (A)

25g      Butter


Filling and topping:

Shredded cheese

Pepperoni

Parmesen cheese powder


Method:

  1. Make the Tangzhong:  Mix the flour and water then cook over low medium low heat till form a paste and remove from heat, set aside and cool down.
  2. Mix in all ingredients (except butter) and knead till all dried ingredients are incorporated. 
  3. Add in butter, and continue to knead till you achieve a smooth dough.
  4. Cover the dough and ferment for 1 - 1.5 hours. 
  5. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions(51g+- each). Round it and cover the dough and rest for 15 mins. 
  6. Shaping~~
  7. a) Parmesen heese buns~ roll the dough into a rectangle, put some sherreded cheese, pinch and seal it. Spray some water and roll on the Parmesen cheese powder, shake off some extra parmesen cheese powder and put onto a baking pan.
  8.  b) Pepperoni buns~ flatten the dough and add sherreded cheese and pepperoni, add a bit sherreded cheese on top pepperoni. Put onto baking pan.
  9. Cover the dough and ferment for 1 hour or until the dough are double in size. (It depends on the room temperature)
  10. Preheat the oven at 190°C.
  11. Brush milk on the surface.
  12. Bake for 15-18 minutes.
