MOIST BUTTER CAKE ( Air Fryer)

This Butter cake  is a really yummy. It's rich and buttery with a moist and tender crumb. This cake is perfect  with a cup of coffee. 

这个奶油蛋糕真的很好吃。 它口感丰富,黄油味十足,蛋糕又湿嫩。 这个蛋糕再配上一杯咖啡是完美的。






MOIST BUTTER CAKE

Ingredients:

100g Butter

120g Sugar ( I used 70g)

100g Wheat Flour 

2 Eggs

1/2 tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Vanilla Essence 

30ml Milk


METHOD:

1. Oil your baking pan, line  it with baking paper and oil the  surface of  the  baking paper. 

2. Sift the flour and  baking powder, set aside. 

3. Pour  butter in the bowl and  beat the butter. 

4. Add in sugar. Cream the  butter and sugar until pale in colour, turns fluffy and creamy.

5. Add in eggs  one  by one to prevent the mixture from getting too wet. Cream the  mixture until well blended  before adding another egg.

6. Add in vanilla essence and continue beating.

7. Add in the flour  in small batches. Once a while, stop to scrape down the sides. 

8.  Pour in milk and continue beating.

9. Add in flour  in small batches. Mix well. The mixture  will be creamy, fluffy and pale  in colour. 

10. Preheat AF 200°C for 5 mins.

11. Oil silver side of aluminium foil. Cover oiled part facing inside. It prevents the cake  from sticking. Poke holes to allow the cake to breathe

12. FIRST BAKE : 160°C / 30mins.  Once finish,  remove the aluminium foil and bake second time.

13. SECOND BAKE : 160°C / 10mins.  *Recipe is based on my 2.8liter basket, bigger basket may require slightly longer time. 

14. Once bake, remove the cake  from the airfryer. Allow the pan to cool 30mins before  cutting.
