Milk Bread Rolls 牛奶面包卷


Ingredients: (16 buns)

200g     Bread flour

170g     All purpose flour 

6g          Instant yeast

250ml   Warm milk 

1            Egg

50g       Sugar 

5g         Salt 

50g       Unsalted butter


Method:

  1. Lightly whisk the dry ingredients.
  2. Mix the milk and egg and stir well, and graduatly pour into the mixed flour. Stir the dough with a spatula until no flour is visible.
  3. Add butter until the butter is completely incorporated.
  4. Let it ferment  for 1-2 hours ( depending on room temperature) or keep in the fridge overnight.
  5. Flatten the dough and divide into 16 equal portions.
  6. Round it and rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Roll the dough into a cylinder shape and arrange it on the baking tray.
  8. Let it ferment for 45 minutes or until double in size.
  9. Brush some egg wash or milk on top of bread rolls.
  10. Bake in preheated oven at 180C for 20-25 minutes.
