Doughnuts
Ingredients :
200g Bread flour
50g All purpose flour
3 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Powdered milk
1 tsp Instant yeast
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
1 Egg
90-100ml Cold water
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Butter
Method:
1. Mix all the ingredients (except the butter ) and knead till form a dough. Add in butter and continue to knead till smooth dough, take out the dough onto a floured surface and lightly knead it. Set aside and rest for 10 minuts.
2. Divide into 11 pieces (50g+- each) and round the dough. Rest for 10 minutes.
3. Flatten the dough. Then make the shape of ring and set aside to rise for second time for 45 mins or double in size.
4. Heat up oil (about 160°C) and fry in hot oil until golden brown, once done, coat with sugar glaze.
