Chocolate cake 巧克力蛋糕

Chocolate cake 巧克力蛋糕

Ingredients:

1 cup (120 g)   All purpose flour

 ½ cup (60g)    Cocoa powder 

1 cup (200 g)   Sugar

1 tsp                  Baking powder 

½ tsp                 Baking soda

¼  tsp                Salt

1                         Large egg 

¼ cup (60 ml)  Oil or melted butter 

½ cup                Plain yogurt

1 tsp                   Vanilla essence 

2 tsps                Coffee Powder

½cup (120 ml)  Warm water 


Chocolate Ganache:

80g  Chocolate chips 

80g  Heavy cream

25g  Unsalted butter

*~ Mix chocolate chips and cream into a bowl. Heat up in microwave for 30 seconds and mix well. Add in butter and mix well. Cool down in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.

Method:-

1. Preheat oven at 180 C. Grease cake pan. 

2. Mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl until combined.

3. Add coffee powder into warm water, mix well.

4. Add eggs, yogurt, warm coffee water, oil, and vanilla intodried ingredients. Mix everything until combined.

5. Fill pan with cake batter.

6. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 180 C , and test with toothpick if comes out clean.

7. Cool for 15 minutes and then turn out the cakes and allow to cool completely.

8. Slice the cake and assemble the cake. Blend the remaining cake for decoration later.
