Halloween Cake ~~ Chocolate Velvet Cake 万圣节巧克力蛋糕

Halloween, celebrated on October 31, is just around the corner, which means an evening of fun filled with costumes, spooky treats, trick-or-treating, Halloween party games, and (for adults only) boo-zy Halloween cocktails.😍👻

So, I baked a Halloween cake to celebrate this haunted season.😉 This Halloween Chocolate Cake is beautiful with the simple halloween design, yet it's also very delicious. The cake is soft and the cream is chocolaty, and topped with dark chocolate garnache, a perfact match! 













Prepared this chocolate cream👆 for making chocolate cream. Freeze it in the fridge first before mix it with whipped cream.

Halloween Cake ~~ Chocolate Velvet Cake

万圣节巧克力蛋糕

Ingredients:

Chocolate cake:

2           Eggs

220g    Sugar

280g    Milk

60g      Vegetable oil

60g      Butter

240g    All purpose flour

55g      Cocoa powder

10g      Baking  soda

3g (1/2 tsp)   Salt

12g (1 tbsp) White vinegar 


Cream:

340g cream 30–35%

120g dark chocolate with a cocoa content of 50%

15g (1.5 tbsp) Cognac or Brandy (optional)

~ Take 120g cream and heat up in microwave for 40 seconds, then pour into dark chocolate and sit for 10 minutes. Stir until the chocolate has melted and cover with cling wrap, keep in the fridge.


Glaze: ( reserved some for making spider)

80g dark chocolate with a cocoa content of 50%

100g cream 30–35%


Decoration cream:( For spider web and pumpkin)

100g  Whipping cream

30g White chocolate

Food colouring~ Orange, yellow and Coco colour
