Banana Butter Cake

There are three bananas left on the counter, I used them to make this soft and moist banana cake. The cake is yummy! 😋

This banana cake is easy to make. You don't need to use an electric mixer to make it. Just mix it with a whisk, as simple as that.😉




Banana Butter Cake 

Ingredients:

150g          Ripe Banana (3)

125g          Butter ( room temperature)

30ml         Cooking Oil

125g         Sugar

2              Eggs

1 tsp        Vanilla extract

120 ml    Milk 

200g       All-purpose flour  

1 tsp       Baking powder 

1/2 tsp    Baking soda 

Pinch of salt


Method:

  1. Preheat oven at 180 C. Grease the rectangle pan (8"x 4.5") or 8" round pan.
  2. Smash the banana well. Set aside.
  3. Add butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, milk, oil and beat well until it combines.
  4. Add in the smashed banana and mix well.
  5. Add in sifted flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and mix well. 
  6. Pour the batter onto a greased cake tin and bake for 40- 45 minutes. 
  7. Leave the cake in the pan for 10-15 minutes or test it with a skewer and it comes out clean.
  8. Remove the cake from the pan and let them cool completely.
