There are three bananas left on the counter, I used them to make this soft and moist banana cake. The cake is yummy! 😋
This banana cake is easy to make. You don't need to use an electric mixer to make it. Just mix it with a whisk, as simple as that.😉
Banana Butter Cake
Ingredients:
150g Ripe Banana (3)
125g Butter ( room temperature)
30ml Cooking Oil
125g Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla extract
120 ml Milk
200g All-purpose flour
1 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Baking soda
Pinch of salt
Method:
- Preheat oven at 180 C. Grease the rectangle pan (8"x 4.5") or 8" round pan.
- Smash the banana well. Set aside.
- Add butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, milk, oil and beat well until it combines.
- Add in the smashed banana and mix well.
- Add in sifted flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and mix well.
- Pour the batter onto a greased cake tin and bake for 40- 45 minutes.
- Leave the cake in the pan for 10-15 minutes or test it with a skewer and it comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the pan and let them cool completely.
