Freshly baked sourdough bread is always the best!  Nothing tastes as good as homemade bread that's fresh from the oven!😘 

My daughter said she didn't get the chance to savour the previous baked Sweet butter peanut bread. So, I made some again today.😉

👆I used the same recipe to make a loaf .😉 But I used milk instead of water and I omitted the powdered milk.

Assorted soudough Bread 多种口味面包

Ingredients:

Bread Flour 200g 面包粉

All purpose flour 80g 通用面粉

Milk  powder 15g 奶粉

Caster sugar 30g 细砂糖

Levain  100g 酸种

Water  70ml 水

Dry yeast  1g 干酵母( Optional)

Salt  3g 盐

Egg 1pc 鸡蛋

Unsalted Butter (soften)  30g 无盐黄油(软化)


Fillings & Toppings:

Cheddar cheese slices

Parmesan cheese powder

Chocolate Chips

Peanut butter

Sweet butter Cream

Peanut powder

Some chocolate cream ( Melt some chocolate chips over hot water, once melted, add butter and milk and mix well)


Method:

1. Mix all the ingredients except butter. Knead untill a soft dough forms.

2. Add in butter and knead unill the dough is visibly smooth and elastic. 

3. Cover the kneaded dough and proof in the fridge overnight.

4. Next day, take out the dough and rest in room temperature for 1 - 2 hours.

5. Without kneading, divide the dough into 12 small portions(30g each), and 6 portions,each about 35g. Round it with the palm of your hand and cover it with a cloth or plastic wrap and rest for 15 minutes. 

6. Shaping:

For Chocolate Cream Bun: Roll out the dough, put some chocolate chips, pinch and seal the dough, put the bun onto baking tray and proof until double in size.

For Parmesan Cheese Bun: Roll out the dough, put the cut cheese slices, then pinch and seal the dough. Spray some water onto dough and tab on the parmesan cheese powder, brush off some excess cheese powder. Put the bun onto baking tray and proof until double in size.

Fot the Peanut butter bun: Roll out the dough, then swiss roll up and seal the edges. Put the bun onto baking tray and proof until double in size.

7. Apply egg wash onto the buns .

8. Bake in the preheated oven 180C for 10 - 12 mins.

9. After the buns are cooled:

(A) Apply the sweet butter cream onto cut bread, and dip into peanut powder. 

(B) Make a slit in the center of the bun, apply some peanut butter, squeeze some sweet butter cream, sprinkle some peanut powder, squeeze some melted chocolate on top.

(C) Squeeze some melted chocolate cream on top the chocolate cream bun.
