Since I have all the ingredients, so I decided to make this jelly cake for our dessert. The sweetness of the jelly was just right, not too sweet.
Oreo Jelly Cake
Ingredients:
Oreo biscuit base:
10 pcs Oreo biscuits
40 g melted butter
(A) Milk Jelly ingredients: (divided into 3 parts):
900 ml of milk
10g jelly powder
(B) Oreo milk jelly:
4 pcs Oreo biscuits ( crushed)
1 Tbsp sugar
300 ml of milk jelly from (A)
(C) Milo milk jelly:
25 g milo powder
300 ml of milk jelly from (A)
1 Tbsp sugar
(D) Chocolate Milk jelly:
25g Chocolate powder
300 ml of milk jelly from (A)
2 Tbsps sugar
Topping :
1 tsp chocolate powder
Method :
1. Mix the jelly powder with milk, then divide into 3 parts (300ml each).
2. For the biscuit layer: Grind the Oreo biscuits and stir mix with melted butter. Pour into a 6" pan and press evently. Let it set in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
3. For oreo milk jelly layer: boil on medium heat until boiling. Remove from heat and keep string till it gets slightly cool. Mix in crushed oreo and pour onto the biscuit base and let it set.
4. For Milo jelly layer: boil on medium heat until boiling. Remove from heat and keep string till it gets slightly cool and pour onto the oreo milk jelly layer and let it set.
5. For Chocolate jelly layer: boil on medium heat until boiling. Remove from heat and keep string till it gets slightly cool and pour onto the Milo jelly layer and let it set.
6. Store in the refrigerator until it is firm or over night.
7. when it sets, remove from pan. Dust with chocolate powder on top the cake.
