Kimbap/ Gimbap/Korean rice rolls

Simple and delicious kimbap aka Korean rice rolls . Since there are some Japanese rice in the fridge, so I made these simple rolls yet yummy kimbap for dinner.






Kimbap/ Gimbap/Korean rice rolls

Ingredientsl:

Cucumbers, remove seed and cut into strips

Carrots cut into long strips or matchsticks, and saute for a minute

Crab meat sticks, steamed or pan fried and let cool

2 sausages, steamed or pan fried and cut into strips

4 Eggs , fried and cut into strips

Mayonnaise Sauce (5 Tbsps Mayonnaise + 1 Tbsp of chili sauce + 1 Tbsp of tomato sauce)


Method:

1. Wash 3 cups of Japanese rice first, then cook it in a rice cooker. Once cooked, add 1/2 tsp salt, 1 + 1/2 Tbsp sesame oil and 1/2 cup of toasted sesame seeds  while still hot, and mix well. Let cool.

2. Use a bamboo roll , place a sheet of seaweed roll, put rice on it, about one third of the area of the seaweed roll.

3. Put a carrot, a cucumber, a crab meat stick or sausages, fried egg, and spread the mayonnaise sauce.

4. Use bamboo roll to form a long strip. Then, slice and serve.
