Gingerbread Man Cookies 聖誕姜餅人

In December we don't count calories! It's the month when it's the perfect excuse to have fun and please.

A gingerbread man is a biscuit or cookie made of gingerbread, usually in the shape of a stylized human being, although other shapes.

Do you remember Gingy? Gingy is a talking gingerbread man character in the Shrek series of animated movies. He is derived from the fairy tale "The Gingerbread Man".

姜饼人是由姜饼制成的饼干或曲奇饼,通常呈程式化的人形,但也有其他形状。

你还记得金吉吗?金吉是史莱克系列动画电影中会说话的姜饼人角色。他来源于童话故事“姜饼人”。





Gingerbread Man Cokies 聖誕姜餅人


姜饼人材料:

面粉 200克 (过筛)

红糖 85克 (过筛)

肉桂粉 1/2茶匙

姜粉 1/2茶匙

盐 1/4茶匙

鸡蛋 1/2粒

蜂蜜或糖蜜 30毫升

牛油 50克

苏打粉 1/2茶匙


糖饰材料:

糖粉 150克

蛋清 1个

柠檬汁或白醋 1/2茶匙


做法:

1、在一个大碗里,将200克 面粉,85克 红糖,1/2茶匙 肉桂粉,1/2茶匙姜粉,1/4茶匙盐和1/2茶匙 苏打粉 一起混合。

2.加入1/2粒鸡蛋,30毫升蜂蜜搅拌。

3.加入50克 牛油一起搓匀。

4.把面团搓至团状,然后用保鲜膜包上面团,冷藏至少一个小时。

5.用油纸把面团搟成约5mm厚。

6.然后用姜饼人模型压成形状。

7.先预热烤箱,160℃烘焙10-12分钟,待完全冷却后才可以画上糖霜。

8.制作糖霜:将1粒蛋清和 1/2茶匙柠檬汁用电动打蛋器打至起泡,再加入150克糖粉,打成幼滑黏稠糖浆(如果太稀则不适合用于装饰饼干)。

9.将糖浆分成3份(白色,红色和青色),分别放入裱花袋里,打结,然后剪小小的洞口。

10.在姜饼上画上你想要的图案,放置温室内,大约20分钟,糖霜就会变干。


Gingerbread man ingredients:

200g flour (sifted)

85g of brown sugar (sifted)

50g butter

30ml honey/molasses

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ginger powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 egg

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda


Icing decoration materials:

150g icing sugar

1 egg white

1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice or vinegar


Method:

1. In a large bowl, mix 200g of flour, 85g of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, 1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.

2. Add 1/2 egg, 30ml honey and  mix well.

3. Add 50g of butter and knead well.

4. Knead the dough to a dough shape, then wrap the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.

5. Use oil paper to roll the dough into about 5mm thick.

6. Then press with the gingerbread man cutter.

7. Preheat the oven first, bake at 160°C for 10-12 minutes, and then apply the frosting after it is completely cooled.

8. Make icing sugar:  Beat 1 egg white and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice with an electric whisk until foaming, then add 150g of icing sugar to make a smooth and thick paste (if it is too thin, it is not suitable for decorating cookies).

9. Divide the frosting into 3 parts (white, red and green), put them in the piping bag, tie the knots, and cut a small hole.

10. Draw the pattern you want on the gingerbread,  about 20 minutes, the icing will dry.
