This is literally my first time making so many variety patterns of cookies.

Christmas Butter Cookies圣诞黄油曲奇
Ingredients:
■Vanilla cookies
100g unsalted butter
60g powdered sugar
pinch of salt
1/2 vanilla beans
1 egg yolk
130g cake flour
35g ground almonds
■Cocoa cookies
100g unsalted butter
60g powdered sugar
10g cocoa powder
pinch of salt
1 egg yolk
125g cake flour
30g ground almonds
Directions:
- Cream unsalted butter until smooth.
- Add in powdered sugar and mix.
- Add in egg yolk and mix well.
- Sift the cake flour and almond powder into the mixture.
- Mix well until smooth.
- wrap each of them with cling wrap.
- Refrigerate for about 30 mins.
- Roll out the dough into 5mm then refrigerate again for at lease 1 hour until harden.
- Pre-heat the oven at 170℃. Cut out the cookies.
- Bake at 170℃ for 13-15 mins, check if the edges are golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
