Christmas Sugar Cookies圣诞霜糖饼干
Ingredients:
130g Unsalted butter
90g Powdered sugar (sifted)
1 Medium Egg (lightly beaten)
1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
250g All purpose flour
50g Almond powder
Directions
1. Cream unsalted butter until smooth.
2. Add in powdered sugar and mix.
3. Add in 1/3 egg at a time and mix well.
4. Sift half of the all purpose flour and half of the almond powder into the mixture.
5. Mix well until smooth.
6. Sift the remaining flour and almond powder and mix until smooth.
7. Divide the dough into 3 and wrap each of them with cling wrap.
8. Refrigerate for about 30 mins.
9. Roll out the dough into 5mm then refrigerate again for at lease 1 hour until harden.
10. (Pre-heat the oven at 170℃/338°F) Cut out the cookies.
11. Bake at 170℃ for 13mins, check if the edges are golden.
12. Turn off the oven and leave the cookies inside for 2-3 mins.
13. Let cool and ready to decorate!
