Dalgona Coffee Cake( Eggless)

This is a chocolate cake with Dalgona coffee cream frosting. This cake is very easy to make. The cake is made without egg and butter.



Dalgona Coffee Cake ( Eggless) (7"x7" square cake tin)


Ingredients:

Cake:

150 g    All purpose flour 

40g       Cocoa powder

1 tsp     Baking Powder

1/2 tsp  Baking Soda

50 ml    Cooking Oil 

100g     Sugar 

 200 ml   Milk

1 tsp      Vanilla Essence

1/2 tsp   Cappuccino Coffee Emulco

Pinch of Salt


Dalgona Coffee cream:

2 Tbsps   Instant Coffee powder

2 Tbsps   Powdered sugar

2 Tbsps   Hot water


Chocolate layered:

40g  Milk Chocolate

20g  Whipping cream


Topping: 

Salted Caramel ( for decorating)~ Optional


Method:


1. Preheat the oven at 180℃. 

2. Sifted the flour, chocolate powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

3. Add in sugar,  milk, vanilla and coffee emulco, mix well.

4. Add in oil and beat well.

5. Pour the batter into tray.  

6. Baked in the preheated oven @ 180℃ for 25 - 30 minutes.

7. Cool the cake on the rack.

8. Beat the Dalcona cream until faomy. Keep tn the fridge for 10 minutes.

9. Heat the whipping cream (warm not boil) and poiur into milk chocolate. Leave it for few minutes then stir it until the chocolate melts.

10. Pour the chocolate cream onto cake. Then apply the Dalgona Coffee cream on top the chocolate layer.

11. Decorate with Salted Caramel( warm the thick caramel til soften) as you like. ( Optional)
