Salted Egg Yolk Cookies 咸蛋黄酥

One more week before  Chinese New Year! Everyone is busy making cookies, and me too.  This Salted Egg Yolk Cookies are really delicious. This is definitely a MUST TRY for salted egg lovers! 😘

Salted Egg Yolk Cookies 咸蛋黄酥

Inredients:

4 Salted Egg Yolks (Steam 15minutes)

120g Unsalted Butter

40g Caster Sugar

20g Icing Sugar(sift)

180g All Purpose Flour

20g Corn Starch

¼tsp Baking Powder

3/8tsp Salt


Egg wash:

1 Egg Yolk

1tsp Water 

Handful of White & Black Sesame Seeds


Method:

  1. Steam salted egg yolks for 15 minutes, mashed and set aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugar & icing sugar till creamy.
  3. Add in mashed salted egg yolks. Pour in sifted flour, corn flour, baking powder and salt and mix into a dough. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll the dough between two plastic sheets and use flower cutter to cut out the cookies. Blush with egg wash, sprinkle some sesame seeds and bake at preheated oven 170C for about 13 mins,  then, turn on Fan Force and bake 2 minutes for golden color.


材料:

4颗咸蛋黄(蒸15分钟)

120克无盐牛油

40克细纱糖

20克糖粉

180克面粉

20克玉米淀粉

¼茶匙发粉

3/8茶匙盐


蛋黄液:

1颗蛋黄

1茶匙水

些黑白芝麻


方法:

  1. 将咸蛋黄蒸15分钟,捣碎并静置。
  2. 将黄油,糖和糖霜涂成奶油。
  3. 加入捣碎的咸蛋黄,倒入过筛的面粉,玉米粉,发粉和盐,搅拌成面团。 放入冰箱中冷却30分钟。
  4. 将面团在两个塑料片之间擀开,然后用花模切出饼干。 抹上蛋黄液,撒上一些芝麻,然后在预热烤箱170°C下烘烤约13分钟,之后再开旋风烘烤2分钟来上色。
