Sourdough Veggie Pancakes

 An  easy snack made out of things that might have just been discarded~~ Sourdough discarded😘





Sourdough Veggie Pancakes


Ingredients:

300g Sourdough starter  discard

80g   All purpose flour

15g   Rice flour

100g  Water

10g   Salt

1/2 tsp Veggie stock powder

Pinch of Pepper powder

150g  Carrot strips(1 carrot)

40g    Chopped Spring onions

1 eggs (lightly beaten)


Method:

1. Mix  in all ingredients and mix well. Rest for 10 min.

2. On medium heat non stick pan, add some vegetable cooking oil then add a full ladle of pancake mix.

3. Leave it to cook for 5 min or until corner of pancake start to crisp up. Flip your pancake over and let it cook for another 5-8 min until the other side crisp up.

4. Mix your sauce with soysauce, vinegar and grated ginger top with sesame seeds or chilli sauce. Serve with hot spring onions carrot pancake. It’s so delicious and you can not stop just one...I bet!!  I eat mine with a dipping sauce of Japanese mayonnaise mixed with chili sauce. Yummy!
