This deliciously moist Chocolate Chip Banana Cake with walnuts, perfect for using up those ripe bananas. Easy to make and great for a tea-time treat. This is my go-to banana cake recipe that everyone loves. I bet!! 😉
Walnut & Chocolate Chips Banana Butter Cake

INGREDIENTS:
110g All Purpose Flour
95 Cake Flour
1 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
110g Unsalted Butter, melted
160g Granulated Sugar
2 Large Eggs
1/4 cup Evaporated Milk
1 tsp Vanilla extract
3 Ripe Bananas, mashed
1/2 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
Some Chopped Toasted Walnuts
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 180℃. Line a 8" square pan with parchment paper and grease with butter.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another large bowl, mix together melted butter, sugar, eggs , milk, and vanilla. Add mashed bananas and stir until combined. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and transfer to prepared 8" square pan. Sprinkle chopped walnuts and some chocolate chips on top of batter.
- Bake until a toothpick comes out clean, about 50 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes in pan, then turn out onto a cooling rack to cool completely.
Tips:
- You may omit cake flour and using 220g all purpose flour in this recipe.
- You can substitute the evaporated milk with full cream milk or sour cream or dairy fresh cream or yogurt.
- You can add more sugar if you desire.
