Korean Street Toast

I didn't get the chances to try the Korean Street Toast during my last trip in Korea. So, I google it and made it today! This sandwich need a lot of veggies to make viggies egg pancake. The sandwich is not only savory, but balanced beautifully with sweet flavor from Mayo, Ketchup and Sugar.😉

I'm using my homemade Sourdough Chocolate Sandwich Loaf to make this yummy toast.

👆Wrapped up nicely to prevent the bread to get dry!

Method:

  1. In a large bowl, mix cabbage, onion, carrot, eggs, green onion, salt and pepper, combine well.
  2. Butter, both sides of bread.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add  butter and let it melt. Pour egg mixture and cook until bottom is cooked, about 2 to 3 minutes. Cut egg omelet into 1/4 and flip over. Cook another 2 to 3 minutes or until fully cooked.
  4. When egg omelet is cooked, remove from skillet and add ham slices to heat them up. Remove from skillet.

  6. On a warm toasted bread, sprinkle about 1/2 tsp sugar evenly. Place egg omelet and sprinkle additional 1 tsp sugar. Place warm ham and cheese and sprinkle ketchup and mayonnaise right on top. Cover with another sliced of toasted bread. Done!

Note:

-I made a very large size of veggies omelet, so my sandwich will have two pieces of omelet (from1/4 piece omelet I cut it into two pieces.) .
