I made "One Bowl Chocolate Cake". It's simple and easy to make, just mix all the ingredients together, right in a bowl. It only takes a few minutes to prepare the batter. 😉
Steamed Moist Chocolate Cake蒸湿嫩巧克力蛋糕
Ingredients材料:
125g of butter or corn oil 黄油或玉米油
1 cup of castor sugar 砂糖
1/2 can of evaporated milk 淡奶
2 eggs, lightly beaten鸡蛋,轻轻打散
1 cup plain flour 普通面粉
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder无糖可可粉
1/2 tsp baking powder发粉
1/2 tsp baking soda苏打粉
1/2 tsp vanilla essence香草精
1/3 cup hot water 热水
1tsp white vinegar 白醋
Chocolate Ganache Frosting巧克力甘纳许糖霜:
1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Buttons黑巧克力纽扣
3-4 tbp milk牛奶
~Place under the broiler until the chocolate has melted.

Method:
***If you like it sweeter, can use sweetened cocoa powder.

Method:
- Combine castor sugar, evaporated milk, vanilla essence and butter in a saucepan.
- Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved and butter is melted, off fire and keep warm.
- Add the beaten eggs into the slightly cold evaporated milk mixture and mix well.
- Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda into a large mixing bowl then pour the eggs mixture over the flour and mix well , add in hot water and vinegar, stir until smooth (cake batter should be runny).
- Heat up the steamer.
- Lined and greased an 8 inch baking pan .
- Pour the batter into prepared pan and place the pans into the steamer.
- Steam over medium heat for 40 mins.
- Cool the cake in pan.
- Pour the ganache on top the cake.
***If you like it sweeter, can use sweetened cocoa powder.
