Red Bean Buns 红豆沙面包

I like to eat sweet red bean bun. It's one of my all time favorites!😘





👆 I also made three buns with pepperoni and Cheese fillings. The buns topped with white sesame seeds. 

Red Bean Buns ~ make 9 buns

Ingredients:

250g bread flour
8g powdered milk
40g sugar
3g salt
10g instant dry yeast
55~60g 1 egg
100g water
35g butter

Fillings:
270g Red Bean Paste
- Divide into 30g of 9 portions.

Toppings:
1/2 egg + 1tsp of water
Some black sesame seeds 

Method:
1. Mix all ingredients with egg and water (except butter)
2. When dough is made, add butter and mix until the dough is smooth
3. Covered so that dough won't get dry. Ferment first until the size is double or triple bigger.
4. Separate into 50g doughs, then go for 2nd fermentation for 10~15mins.
5. Roll the dough into a round shape.
6. Put 30g of red bean paste in the center, then sealed.
7. Covered dough so that it won't get dry. Then go for 3nd fermentation until doubled in size.
8. Brush some egg wash and sprinkle some black sesame seeds.
9. Bake in preheated oven at 200c for 15~18mins.
10. Brush some milk onto baked bread when the surface is still hot.(optional)
