Black Sesame Cookies 黑芝麻饼

My first attempt to make this yummy black sesame cookies.😋

Black Sesame Cookies 黑芝麻饼

Ingredients :

150g butter (牛油)
50g peanut butter (花生酱)
130g  (糖粉)
1 egg (鸡蛋)
200g plain flour (普通面粉)
60g corn flour (玉米粉/粟粉)
1/2 tsp salt (盐)
150g black sesame powder (黑芝麻粉)

For glazing: 1 egg mix with 1/8 tsp salt (slightly beaten)
                      1粒鸡蛋加入1/8茶匙盐拌匀

PREPARATION:

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C. 
  2. Sift together flour, corn flour and salt.
  3. In a large bowl with an electric mixer beat together butter and peanut butter until combined well
  4. Beat inicing sugar until light and fluffy. 
  5. Beat in egg  until combined well.
  6. Add in flour mixture and black sesame powder then use a spatula to fold it well or to form a soft dough.
  7. Devide the dough into small portions(5g) and shape into balls.
  8. Arrange cookies dough on a baking tray and brush with beaten egg. Decorate with some white and black sesame seeds.
  9. Bake in preheated oven at 170°C for 15-20  minuets. 
  10. Cool cookies on sheets completely before storing them.
