Earl Grey Milk Tea Cookies 伯爵奶茶曲奇

My first attempt to make this Earl Grey Milk Tea Cookies. The tea flavour wasn't strong enoungh! 




Earl Grey Milk Tea Cookies 伯爵奶茶曲奇

Ingredients 材料:

50g milk (牛奶)
1 earl grey teabag(伯爵茶包)
100g butter (牛油)
70g icing sugar (糖粉)
1 egg yolk (蛋黃)
150g plain flour (普通面粉)
50g corn flour (玉米粉)
20g milk powder (奶粉)

Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 15 minuets.
放入预热烤箱以170°C上下火烤15分钟。

PREPARATION:

  1. Boiled milk  and add in earl grey tea leaves for 5 minutes
  2. Sift the tea and take 1/4 tsp grey tea leaves mix with milk.
  3. In a large bowl with an electric mixer beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 
  4. Beat in egg until combined well.
  5. Add in milk tea in three batches and combined well.
  6. Add in flour mixture(plain flour, corn flour and milk powder) and using a spatula keep pressing down until the mixture is  well combined.
  7. Preheat oven to 170°C. 
  8. Using a piping bag with a fluted nuzzle to piping the cookies.
  9. Bake in preheated oven at 170°C for 15-18  minuets or until golden. 
  10. Cool cookies on sheets and store in a container.
