My first attempt to make this Earl Grey Milk Tea Cookies. The tea flavour wasn't strong enoungh!
Earl Grey Milk Tea Cookies 伯爵奶茶曲奇
Ingredients 材料:
50g milk (牛奶)
1 earl grey teabag(伯爵茶包)
100g butter (牛油)
70g icing sugar (糖粉)
1 egg yolk (蛋黃)
150g plain flour (普通面粉)
50g corn flour (玉米粉)
20g milk powder (奶粉)
Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 15 minuets.
放入预热烤箱以170°C上下火烤15分钟。
PREPARATION:
- Boiled milk and add in earl grey tea leaves for 5 minutes
- Sift the tea and take 1/4 tsp grey tea leaves mix with milk.
- In a large bowl with an electric mixer beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg until combined well.
- Add in milk tea in three batches and combined well.
- Add in flour mixture(plain flour, corn flour and milk powder) and using a spatula keep pressing down until the mixture is well combined.
- Preheat oven to 170°C.
- Using a piping bag with a fluted nuzzle to piping the cookies.
- Bake in preheated oven at 170°C for 15-18 minuets or until golden.
- Cool cookies on sheets and store in a container.
