Chocolate Ogura Cake可可相思蛋糕

I was sick for nearly three weeks after came back from Korea.😓 And I missed baking now!😅 My son wanted to eat a moist and soft cake. So, I decided to make this chocolate Ogura cake.😊






Ingredients  :
5 egg yolks (蛋黄)
1 egg (全蛋)
60g melted butter (溶化牛油)
80g chocolate chips(巧克力豆
50ml milk (牛奶)
90g plain flour(普通面粉)
1 tbsp cocoa powder (可可粉)

5 egg whites (蛋白)
1/4 tsp salt (盐)
95g caster sugar (细砂糖)

Method:

1. Heat up butter, chocolate chips and milk till chocolate completely dissoved. 
2. Add in sifted flour and cocoa powder and whisk till well combined.
3. Add in egg yolks gradually and whisk till well combined.
4. Whisk egg whites till foamy. Add in salt and slowly add in sugar and continue beating until peak. 
5. Fold in 1/3 egg whites into yolk mixture and mix well.
6. Fold in yolk mixture into the remaining egg whites and mix till well combined.
7. Pour batter into 7" pan(18cm). Sprinkle some chocolate chips on top(optional).
8. Steam bake at preheated oven at 150℃ and bake for 90 mins.
9. Tap the cake pan on the table to remove the air bubbles in the cake and removed the cake from pan and let it to cool down completely on the rack.
