Banana Chiffon Cake香蕉戚风蛋糕

My sweet neighbour gave me a bunch of bananas, so I used some to make this yummy banana chiffon cake.

This banana cake is so soft, fluffy and moist. I couldn't wait and I was immediately gobbled a slice of it.😋

Ingredients:

Banana 香蕉 150g

Oil  油 40g
Milk 牛奶 60g 
Cake flour 低筋面粉 90g 
Egg whites 蛋白 4
Sugar 糖 50g  
Egg Yolks 蛋黃 4 

Method:

1. Preheat oven at 150C. Mash the banana.
2. Slightly whisk the  egg yolks.
3. Add in oil and milk and mix well.
4. Add in mashed bananas and and mix well. 
5. Add in cake flour and mix well.
6. Whisk egg whites till foamy. Slowly add in sugar and continue beating until peak. 
7. Fold in 1/3 egg whites into yolk mixture and mix well. 
8. Fold in the remaining egg whites into yolk mixture and mix till well combined.
9. Pour into an 8" chiffon pan and bake at 150C for about 50 mins.
10.Tap the cake pan on the table to remove the air bubbles in the cake and invert the cake to cool down immediately.
