Steamed Moist Chocolate Cake

There was half can of evaporated milk sitting in the fridge, so I decided to use it to make this steam chocolate cake.😘


What makes this Chocolate Cake unique is that it is a "One Bowl Chocolate Cake". Which means you can just mix all the ingredients together, right in a bowl.


You can frost it with Chocolate Ganache. But this is not absolutely necessary. If you like you can just dust the top of the cake with a little powdered sugar or cocoa powder or serve it on its own. 

It only takes a few minutes to prepare the batter. A delicious snacking cake. Perfect with a hot cup of coffee or tea or hot chocolate. ☕

冰箱里还有半罐淡奶,为了赶快解决掉它,所以我决定用它制作这个蒸巧克力蛋糕。😊

这款巧克力蛋糕的独特之处在于它是“一碗巧克力蛋糕”。 这意味着你可以将所有成分混合一起在一个碗里就搞定。

你可以用Chocolate Ganache来装饰它。 但这不是绝对必要的。 你也可以撒一点糖粉或可可粉粉在蛋糕顶部或什么都不放就这样直接享用。

准备面糊只需要几分钟。一款美味的蛋糕就可以享用了。 您可以享用蛋糕和喝一杯热咖啡或茶或热巧克力。☕




                    👆黑美人,哈哈。。。我等不及它完全冷切就把巧克力酱倒上去,结果。。。因为蛋糕体还有温度,所以巧克力酱都很快就流下来,所以只是薄薄的一罾巧克力酱裹住蛋糕体咯,唉!😅


☝流下来的巧克力酱,我加了牛奶把它煮成热巧克力饮料,配塔巧克力蛋糕,好幸福的感觉,哈哈。。。😘


Ingredients材料:

125g of butter or corn oil 黄油或玉米油
1 cup of castor sugar 砂糖
1/2 can of evaporated milk 淡奶
2 eggs, lightly beaten鸡蛋,轻轻打散
1 cup  plain flour 普通面粉
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder无糖可可粉
1/2 tsp baking powder发粉
1/2 tsp baking soda苏打粉
1/2 tsp vanilla essence香草精
1/3 cup hot water 热水


Chocolate Ganache Frosting:
1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Buttons黑巧克力纽扣
3-4 tbp milk牛奶
-Place under the broiler until the chocolate has melted. 
 -放在热水上面,搅拌巧克力直到融化。 

Method:


  1. Combine castor sugar, evaporated milk, vanilla essence and butter in a saucepan.
  2. Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved and butter is melted, off fire and keep warm.
  3. Add the beaten eggs into the slightly cold evaporated milk mixture and mix well.
  4. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda into a large mixing bowl then pour the eggs mixture over the flour and mix well , add in hot water and stir until smooth (cake batter should be runny).
  5. Heat up the steamer.
  6. Lined and greased an 8 inch baking pan .
  7. Pour the batter into prepared pan and place the pans into the steamer.
  8. Steam over medium heat for 40 mins.
  9. Cool the cake in pan. 
  10. Pour the ganache on top the cake.
***If you like it sweeter, can use sweetened cocoa powder.

方法:


  1. 将糖,淡奶,香草精和黄油混合在一个平底锅中。
  2. 用小火搅拌直至糖溶解,黄油融化,离开火并保温。
  3. 将打好的鸡蛋加入稍冷的淡奶混合物中,搅拌至混合均匀。
  4. 将面粉,无糖可可粉,发粉和苏打粉筛入一个大的搅拌碗中,然后将鸡蛋混合物倒在面粉上搅拌至混合均匀,加入热水搅拌均匀(蛋糕面糊应该是流动状态)。
  5. 加热蒸锅。
  6. 准备一个抹了油的8寸烤盘。
  7. 将面糊倒入准备好的烤盘中,将烤盘放入蒸锅中。
  8. 用中火蒸40分钟。
  9. 让蛋糕完全冷却。
  10. 将巧克力酱倒在蛋糕上。
