Cheese Pepperoni Bread

This bread is soft and flavourful with cheese and pepperoni. It's great for breakfast and afternoon snack... and of course, pair with a cup of coffee or tea will be better! 😘



Ingredients:
250g (2 cups) all-purpose flour (125g for each cup)
125ml (1/2 cup) warm milk
25g (2 tbsp) sugar
5g (1-1/2 tsp) instant dry yeast
1 tsp salt
1 large egg, beaten.
56g (4 tbsp) softened butter/margarine
Grated cheese + diced pepperoni for the filling + toppings, as needed.

Method:
1. Mix all ingredients(except egg and butter).

2. Then add in slightly beaten egg and mix well, add butter and mix until the dough is smooth.

3. Transfer the dough onto a floured working top and knead for few seconds.

4. Flatten the dough into a large pizza size.

5. Add in grated cheese and diced pepperoni. Close the dough to wrap the filling.

6. Flatten again into a pizza size. 

7. Put on a baking tray.Make 16 slices around the dough. Twist the sliced dough. Used scissors cut the center part a few cuts. 

8.  Proove for 40 minutes.

9.  Dap with egg wash. Sprinkle some grated cheese and diced pepperoni for topping. 

10. Bake in preheated oven at 200c for20 minnutes.
