Soft Butter Cake

Soft butter cake topped with almond flakes.😘




I baked this light and soft butter cake for my dear buddies birthday celebration.😘

Recipe:

Ingredients:

35g 牛油 BUTTER
2 蛋黃 EGG YOLKS
30g 鮮奶 FRESH MILK
1/4tsp 鹽 SALT
50g 蛋糕粉 CAKE FLOUR
2 蛋白 EGG WHITES
60g 糖 SUGAR
1tsp 檸檬汁 LEMON JUICE

Method:

1. Mixed butter, 20g of sugar(from 60g sugar) and fresh milk in a bowl. Heat up over a low flame, mix well and not boiling but slighly bubbly forms at the side. Add in egg yolks, mix well. Remove from heat, add in sieved flour, salt and mix well, set aside.

2. Beat egg white, add in lemon juice and add in sugar by 3 batches. Continue beating till peak form.

3.Mix 1 & 2 together and pour the mixture into 6" baking pan (line a baking paper).

4. Steam bake at preheated oven at 160 degree for 50 minutes.

5. Remove the line paper immediately after 5 mins.  Cool completely before cutting.
