Cinnamon Chocolate Chips Cookies

These cinnamon cookies are perfect with a cup of coffee or tea. Enjoy it during coffee break or as a snack while watching drama....yummy!!!😉
I modified slightly from the original recipe. I reduced some amount of sugar because I don't like my cookies too sweet.😉




Ingredients:
2  cups flour   
2 Tsp ground cinnamon 
1  Tsp baking soda  
3/4 Tsp kosher salt   
1  cup unsalted butter, softened   
1/2 cup sugar   
1  cup light brown sugar   
2  eggs, large  
2  Tsp pure vanilla extract  
1/2  cup semi sweet chocolate chips   


Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Mix flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Set aside.
3. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
4. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
5. Gradually beat in flour mixture on low speed until well mixed.
6. Stir in chocolate chips. Refrigerate 1 hour(optional).
7. Drop by rounded tablespoons about 2 inches apart onto baking sheets.
8. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. If you like it crispier, bake for a bit longer time about 10 to 12 minutes.
9. Cool on baking sheets 1 minute then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
