Black Sesame cake

I baked this Black Sesame Cake for bringing to my late mom's grave. It was too late to make a cross line on the cake while baking..... that's why the cross line wasn't obvious. 😅

今年做了不一样的蛋糕去拜祭妈妈。希望妈妈会喜欢这个黑芝麻蛋糕。因为忘记在烘焙中刮个十字,太迟刮了,所以十字不明显。蛋糕的口感细腻软绵,不会太甜,刚刚好,好吃!😘






Ingredients :

3 egg Yorks
3 egg whites
50g sugar
45g cake flour
1/2 tsp black sesame powder
A pinch salt
24g Corn oil
42g milk

Method: 

1. Beat the egg white with sugar( mix in three batches) till soft peak, refrigerated  it for later use.
2. Mix the flour and black sesame powder into oil and milk with a spatula.
3. Mix in egg yolks and salt with a spatula.
4. Take 1/3 beaten egg white into egg mixtures and mix well.
5. Repeat step (4).
6. Pour the egg mixtures into the remaining beaten egg white.
7. Pour into a pan, bake in preheated oven 140C for 25mins.
8. After baking for 10mins, make a cross line on the cake surface.
