Steamed White Coffee Layered Cake 蒸白咖啡蛋糕




I like spongy cake. I like to eat it plain or spreading some kaya on top of it and with a hot cup of black coffee. ^^

Ingredients :

5 eggs
150 g  sugar
150 g flour
1/8tsp salt
1packet white coffee (40g )
50ml hot water

Method:

1) Mix flour and salt together, sieve and set aside.
2) Mix white coffee with hot water and stir well, set aside.
3) Whisk eggs till bubbly, add in sugar gradually and beat till thick and fluffy.
3) Add in sieved flour gradually in three batches, divide into three portions, two portions add in white coffee and another portion remain it plain.
4) Pour white coffee batter into an 8" round tin and steam for 15 to 20 mins , then add in the plain batter and steam for 15 to 20 mins.
5) Pour another white coffee batter on top of steamed cake and steam again for another 15 mins or till cooked.

**I used electric steamer, so total steaming time was about 25-30mins.

50毫升热水

方法:

1)面粉和盐一起过筛,备用。
2)混合白咖啡和热水,待用。
3)鸡蛋搅打起泡,分次加入糖打至厚和蓬松。
3)分三次加入过筛面粉,轻轻拌入,将面糊分成三份,两份加入白咖啡糊,而另一份保留原色。
4)白咖啡面糊倒入一个8“烤盘,蒸15〜20分钟,然后倒入原色面糊再蒸15到20分钟。
5)倒入白咖啡面糊在蒸蛋糕顶部,再蒸15分钟或至熟。

**我用电蒸锅,所以蒸煮时间约为30分钟。
