Chocolate Ogura cake 巧克力相思蛋糕




I decided to bake this chocolate ogura cake for tomorrow gathering.  Hope my friends will like it! !
明天,我就带这个巧克力相思蛋糕去同学聚会。希望同学们喜欢!

Ingredients :

(A)

4               Egg yolks
1               Egg 
65g           Corn oil
80ml         Milk
1/4 tsp      Salt
100g         All purpose flour
1 tsp         Coffee Emulco
1 tbp        Chocolate powder

(B)

4               Egg whites 
1/4 tsp      Tartar powder
80g            Sugar

Method :

1.  Mix corn oil, milk, salt, egg yolks + coffee emulco and mix well.
2.  Add in sifted flour and mix well, leave it aside .
3. Beat egg whites + Tartar powder till bubbles, add in sugar in 3 batches and beat till stiff formed.
4. Add 1/3 beaten egg whites into egg yolks mixture and mix well, then add into the remaining beaten egg whites and mix well.
5. Scoop out some batter and mix it with coffee Emulco and chocolate powder.
6. Pour the plain batter into a 8" baking tin, then scoop the chocolate batter on top the plain batter. Use a stick to make a marble effect. Bake the cake at 170c for 45mins.
