I like green tea whether it is in the drinks, cakes or ice-cream. I just like the green tea flavour. This cake is without baking powder & baking soda.^^Unfortunately, I'd over baked it for 20minutes. I should bake it for 15mins to get a moist cake texture.
Honey Green Tea Muffins
100g cake flour
1tbp green tea powder
40g sugar
2tbp honey
3eggs
1 tbp salad oil(any cooking oil)
1tsp ovalette (I omit this)
Method:
- Preheat oven at 180 degC.
- Sift together cake flour and green tea powder. Set aside.
- With an electric mixer, beat eggs, sugar,ovalette and honey beat until creamy.
- With a spatula, fold in 1/3 of the flour mixture in three portion. Stir well after each addition.
- Add some batter in the salad oil, mix well. Then pour all into the batter and mix well.
- Pour into prepared paper cup and bake for 15mins or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let it cool completely.
