This papaya has been sitting in my fridge for some time.....so I decided to make this soup. It's so warm & refreshing! ^^
Ingredients:
1 papaya ~ cut into cubes
60g Snow fungus
6 big Chinese red dates
Some dried Longan
1 piece of rock sugar( 片糖)
5 Pandan leaves ~rinsed and tied into a knot
2 litre water
Method:
- Soak snow fungus in water for 30 minutes to rehydrate or until soft, then washed and use scissors to cut into smaller pieces.
- Put Snow fungus, red dates , papaya cubes and pandan leaves into a pot and bring to boil over medium heat~ then simmer at low heat until fungus and red dates are tender, about 30 minutes. Lastly pour in longan and simmer for another 10 minutes. Add sugar to taste.
- Discard pandan leaves before serving, serve either hot or cold.
主料:
1〜木瓜切成丁状
60克雪耳
6大中国红枣
一些龙眼干
1片冰糖(片糖)
5香兰叶〜冲洗和打结
2升水
方法:
泡木耳在水中30分钟,以补充水分,或直到变软,然后洗净,用剪刀剪成小块。
把雪耳,红枣,木瓜丁和香兰叶放入锅中,煮沸改用中火〜再转小火煮,直到木耳和红枣软,约30分钟。最后倒入龙眼肉,煮10-15分钟。加糖调味。
食用前拿掉香兰叶,趁热或冷食用。
