Pumpkin Soup

Delicious! This is a great appetizer for Thanksgiving. Simple and easy to make.^^

鲜明的色泽与香甜的气味,就是南瓜浓汤吸引人的地方。南瓜浓汤的材料很简单,基本的食材只需要南瓜和洋葱,盐巴和黑胡椒调味,再加上一点牛奶或鲜奶油就成了。


Ingredients:

An appropriate amount of water
Half pumpkin 
1Bombay onion (chopped)
1 tsp chicken stock(optional)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Half cup of fresh milk
Whipping cream(optional)

Directions:
1.Cut pumpkin into 1/2-inch cubes.

2.Boil water,  pumpkin, onion. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, add in salt, chicken stock , black pepper and simmer for 15 minutes uncovered.

3.Puree the soup in small batches using a blender.

4.Return to pan and bring to a boil again. Reduce heat to low , stir in fresh milk and simmer for another 15 minutes, uncovered.  Pour into soup bowls and add in some whipping cream(optional).
