I bet everyone has grown up eating this dish "卤肉蛋” or "Tau Yu Bak" in "Hokkien" dialect. Today, this dish are my kid's favorite. They love the hard-boiled eggs in it and each time when I cook it, I will add more eggs for them. ^^
Ingredients:
1 kg pork belly with skin (cut into pieces)
2 whole garlic with skin
11/2 liter water
Seasoning:
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp "Shaoxing" cooking wine
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
12 hard-boiled eggs
Method:
1 kg pork belly with skin (cut into pieces)

11/2 liter water
Seasoning:

1 tbsp "Shaoxing" cooking wine
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
12 hard-boiled eggs
Method:
- Marinade the pork belly pieces with the seasoning for at least 30mins.
- Add in the marinade pork belly pieces in a pot, covered the lid and cook for 3 minutes, add in garlic and stir well then cover the lid cook until the color of the pork changes. Add in water and hard boiled eggs, bring it to boil.
- Cover up, lower the heat and simmer for 1 hour until the gravy is thicken.
- Season it with some salt to taste. Dish up, serve hot.
