Swedish butter cake with blueberry cream topping



I got this Swedish butter cake recipe long long time ago ! I remembered that  I have copied it from the NST newspaper. This recipe is a keeper.

Swedish butter cake with blueberry cream topping

Ingredient :
 
110g butter
 150g sugar
 1 egg 
 1 cup of flour
 1tsp of baking powder
 1/2 cup of milk
 1 tsp of vanilla 
 Some blueberry cream


Method :
1. Preheat the oven to 180c
2.Sift the flour and baking powder in a bowl.
3. Cream the butter & sugar until light & fluffy.Add in the egg & vanilla &beat well.
4. Fold in the flour into the batter.Alternatively add in the milk into the mixture.
5. Pour batter into baking pan .
6. Spoon some blueberry cream on top the batter & bake for 35 - 40 minutes .
