Chocolate banana cake

 

What I  like to make this cake is because no machine is needed . Just use hand whisks & spatula to mix them all. This cake is moist & dense. It remained moist even when it left overnight in the fridge.

Chocolate Banana Cake:

190g   Granulated Sugar
12og   All Purpose Flour
35g     Cocoa Powder
3/4 tsp Baking Powder
3/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1     Large Egg
1     Mashed Banana 
1/2 cup Warm Water
1/4 cup Milk
1/4 cup Canola Oil (I used corn Oil)
1/2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

1. Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
2. Line a baking paper on a 8" square pan.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients
4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients
5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.Stir till just combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and baked for 35-40 minutes,or untill cooked.
7. When completely cooled, frost with ganache.

Chocolate Ganache Frosting:
110g Grated Chocolate
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
1/2 tbp butter

  - Bring cream to a boil & off the heat.
  - Add in chocolate & stir until smooth.
  - Wait until it is warm before pouring onto the cake.
