Bibimbap (Korean Rice Bowl)+ Kerabu Timum

Bibimbap is one of the most well known Korean dishes. A rice bowl topped with all sorts of seasoned sautéed vegetables, marinated meat (usually beef), a fried egg sunny side up, finished with a sprinkle of sesame and generous dollop of a sweet-spicy-savoury Bibimbap sauce.


I made Bibimbap( my own creation ) for dinner yesterday. I didn't buy any Korean's products to make this dish.....because the dinner was last minute to cook. This dish was easy to make,just add in everything into rice & mixed.I also added in some sambal ikan bilis & chili powder ...hahaha...

I used the left over vegetables to make this cucumber salad ( Kerabu Timum) for snack today.Its yummy ! If you like to eat Thai food or Malay food , you must try this simple & easy to make salad ! :))


INGREDIENTS:

1 cucumber & 1/2 carrot - grated
one chili padi -chopped
1 tbsp  roasted ikan bilis -pounded
1 red chili - sliced 
3 tbsp pounded roasted peanuts
1 kasturi lime juice
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 stalk coriander leaves
2 tsp sugar
 some salt

METHOD:
Mix all & season to taste.The

seasoning is up to your taste....
